Spring Holidays

The spring holidays have arrived!

Spring Equinox has just passed us by — an ancient holiday that is once again gaining popularity, especially overseas. If you saw people standing eggs on their ends on March 20th, that is a celebration of the equinox!

More commonly in North America, Spring holidays mean Easter. In Gananoque, there will be a giant Easter egg hunt, as well as an Easter brunch for those looking to spend the day out and about.

If you have an Easter Bunny (or any bunny) in your yard, you’re lucky! You’re also the envy of every kid in your neighbourhood. The Ontario SPCA has published a guide on living peaceably with rabbits.
